I have been putting this lead through the ringer since I’ve got it. Certification tests and practice tracks; it’s been through mud, water, brush, briars, leaves, anything and everything. It is the real deal! It doesn’t absorb water like others do. It gets wet, but doesn’t get the heaviness to it. It doesn’t get caked up with mud and dirt. It doesn’t snag or hang up. VERY PLEASED with the purchase. May have to get another just to put back!
